Episode #47 – An open conversation about Racism

As protest rallies sparked by George Floyd’s death continue to be held across the globe, it’s a time for all of us to listen, learn and educate ourselves far more deeply on the issues of racism and white privilege.

In this episode Katrina, Lee and Christy talk about the Black Lives Matter campaign, the role we each have to play in fighting racism, and why it’s just not enough to take the ‘I’m not racist’ approach anymore.

We focus on how we can do better at being anti-racist, and explore some of the resources we’ve been accessing to educate ourselves on this incredibly important issue.

In this conversation we mention Brene Brown podcast, Russell Brand podcastThe Wheeler Centre PodcastReni Eddo-Lodge book – Why I’m no longer talking to white people about race, and the film Just Mercy.
