We’re getting in early with our weekly #spreadingthegoodstuff post to fly the orange flag for the annual One & All Inclusion Project’s Wear Orange for One & All day tomorrow.
There is little doubt One & All has changed the face of inclusiveness in Echuca Moama since its inception in 2009, by promoting all inclusion for all abilities and we’re proud to help in any way we can.
People’s lives have been changed through One & All, with many individuals living with disability competing in sporting events for the first time, attending camps previously off limits, and some even making their debutante ball – things they never thought possible. One & All has given individuals, and their families and carers, a taste of what ‘real’ inclusion is and the entire Echuca Moama has embraced its philosophy and purpose.
We’re involved with One & All in a small way and spend some of our time writing about the virtues of a group of passionate people who not only aim to level the playing field but also educate the community about what real inclusion looks like. One & All empowers people living with disability to live fully in their local community and importantly, also encourages many able-bodied people to stop and think about their often-unappreciated right to inclusion.
So on Friday when you don your orange t-shirt, wrist band or hat, think about how you will help One & All in their ‘inclusion for all’ movement.
Hooray for One & All!
