This week we are #spreadingthegoodstuff for the groundbreaking Opening Doors Project, an initiative of Community Living and Respite (CLRS), which has received a $350,000 federal grant.
This grant provides a welcome injection of funds for the project, encompassing supported accommodation, which will set a new standard for independent living for people with disability in Echuca Moama. Opening Doors will profoundly change the lives of those accessing this wonderful facility, and provide assurance for families who can feel confident their loved ones will be supported with long term accommodation into the future.
CLRS has praised the outstanding community support shown for the project to date and efforts from hard-working local ambassadors.
“The support from the community and our Opening Doors ambassadors has made opportunities like this possible,” said CLRS CEO Suzanna Barry.
CLRS is a community organisation, accredited to provide disability services in Echuca Moama and surrounding districts, developed in partnership with disability clients and their families and carers.
We know how hard this organisation works to provide outstanding services and take our hats off to all involved and the wider community for recognising and supporting the work they do.
Well done guys… we look forward to following the ongoing progress of the Opening Doors Project. You can dontate to this fantastic initiative here.
